What kind of artwork should send to your rubber stamp maker?

Generally, if you engage a graphics design company to handle your company’s corporate identity which includes designing your name cards, logo, letterheads and envelopes for your company, you can also get the graphics company to design the company stamps as well as to save your time and money.

Graphics design company will normally use softwares like coreldraw, adobe photoshop and adobe illustrator to create the rubber stamp artwork in vector, black and white formats in order for rubber stamp makers to use it to create an engraving plate to make the rubber stamps. The type of artwork acceptable for most rubber stamp makers are namely PDF, adobe illustrator, adobe photoshop, EPS, Coreldraw file extensions. Bear in mind to create all wordings to outlines in case the rubber stamp maker’s computer do not have the font types for your company stamp.

If you do not engage any graphics design company to assist you, you can try emailing your company’s logo in JPEG, PNG, TIFF formats to the rubber stamp maker for them to add the logo onto the rubber stamp. Some rubber stamp makers in Singapore may be able to help you convert color logo to a black and white version for the making of rubber stamps with additional charges.

To save cost and precious time, you can also convert the logo in colored version to a black and white version before sending it to the rubber stamp maker for manufacturing as some rubber stamp makers is not savvy in design or using of any design software in the market such as coreldraw, adobe photoshop and adobe illustrator etc and therefore can’t assist in adding the logo onto the company stamp. They need your artwork to be in black and white format, and they will most likely type in the rest of the wordings for the rubber stamp manufacturing.

There are plenty of free image editing softwares such as GIMP, Pixlr or you can also use microsoft paint that you can use to design or edit the rubber stamp artwork before sending it to your rubber stamp maker.
